MIRACLE ON 34th STREET (1947) -- I know, it's considered a classic Christmas movie, but it does start out at the Macy's parade (and little Susan does manipulate her mom into inviting neighbor Fred for Thanksgiving dinner).
I agree and also another favorite of mine too .
This one I sometimes can't wait till Christmas to watch either .
