...it is too bad that the "vultures" permeating a child's hobby took it to extremes and made it a miasma of greed. The card manufactures are also to blame for their sales practices and advertisements... My card collection is something that started in the 1950's with me purchasing .01 cent packs with a large slab of bubble gum. How I long for those good ol' days....!!!!!!
Is there any human experience (including living in a greener earth) that greedy capitalism hasn't ruin? I consider those who were born between 1950 and 1970 (with a heavy heart I'll add 5 more years that is up to 1975) extremely lucky people ,life had quite a true feel back then.
This fall I discovered the Pre Code Hollywood movies on Youtube (1927 - 1935) and I've been binge watching all this time.Another great authentic era!
