D) The Shawshank Redemption... it's pure corn. I don't do well with corn like it, The Natural, Sully, Lincoln, The Green Mile... etc. Even the middle 3/5ths of Saving Private Ryan keep me at bay.

D) Agree to a point, but I don't hate. Sully and Lincoln for me were very mediocre films. If they hadn't had DDL or Tom Hanks staring or Steven Spielberg or Clint Eastwood directing, they would have been panned. I never got the craze for The Shawshank Redemption either. It wasn't bad, just not great.
