Great to see that someone else takes notice of the animated movies that are released as well, many of which are superb. I've heard a lot of people make that claim about animated movies. But then I watch one of them and they are better described as " fine for what they are". But if you tried to make a theatrical release from one of them shot for shot it would be an awful movie. Batman Year One, Flashpoint and The Dark Knight Returns are three excellent animated films that are very close to the comics and would make excellent live action films. Animation is clearly not for you. The source material is comic art and often that is better reflected in animation. |
