Looking at the poll results, the high percentage of YES votes clearly indicates that the majority of posters on film General feel kids and family movies should have gay characters. It is also worth noting that virulently homophobic posters such as jamesavalon and m-slovak79 have gone silence, perhaps realizing they are out of step with the times.
An overwhelming majority of internet message board users are also atheists or at least religiously unaffiliated. On this forum as well, you can check the official thread there. Obviously that goes very far from reflecting actual demographics. |
