Nobody said it had anything to do with its quality. It's about them taking chances. Why have they not made an R rated Blade, Ghost Rider or The Punisher movie?

Will they ever make an R rated movie? No they probably won't ever want to chance it.

I'll repeat myself a third time. Making an R-rated movie is not "taking a chance". It's not exactly risky. Does it have risks? Yes it does. Is it riskier than making a PG 13 movie? Not necessarily.

The ability to make or not make an R-rated film is not the measuring stick for taking risks. The MCU has taken way more risks than any other superhero studio, and they're currently reaping the rewards.
