There is no real feud. Just people that hate when others talk bad about their fandom so they retaliate (on both sides). The majority of the people here like both companies when it comes to the comics characters. But at the same time know when the studios make bad movies. The problem is that, between the 4 major studios, it is one sided. So with DC doing mostly terrible it looks like hate for that one side because people point that out. Its a point I've made before: Marvel properties are being done by more studios than just MCU. There's Sony and Fox too, not to mention Universal still having a bid on some of them. DC has only been held by one studio for quite some time.
And I've always held that WB just doesn't believe in superhero movies quite as strongly as some of the other studios do. For the longest time they only did Superman and Batman. That's it. That makes me believe that they didn't have faith these properties could be that strong except for as a once in a blue moon type hit. So much so that they allowed Marvel to get ahead when they formed their own studio.
WB could have had a shared universe of super heroes ages ago, but they blew it. Now, they're behind, no matter how good a movie they make. How cool would it have been to see Christopher Reeve and Michal Keeton in a Superman/Batman movie together? Or Christian Bale and Brandon Routh or Henry Cavill in a movie together? Or even just George Millers Justice League Mortal?
WB LET Marvel not only start sooner, but also get ahead. Far ahead. WB could have been first with a shared universe of DC properties. The only area in which they came out ahead was with Wonder Woman, and even that took forever. WB have no one to blame but themselves.
