For whatever reason, thread blocking is not an inherent function of ProBoards' blocking system. However, I've added the ability to block blocked members' threads to the privacy settings:

Profile > Edit Profile (button) > Privacy (tab)

Also, I'm sorry that you feel some members have been banned undeservedly, but I assure you that I am no dictator.

I actually think the block feature here is better than the on Oimdb. It gives you the option to do certain things.

now, 2, 3 and 4 are checked for you but the first one is blank of the check. if you want to hide their posts as well, put the check in and click BLOCK MEMBER. then, when you get to your PRIVACY SETTINGS WITHIN YOUR PROFILE PAGE and you scroll down and MUST click SAVE PRIVACY SETTINGS at the bottom. it gives you a chance to double check what you want the site to do regarding the blocked member.
