The only character who even comes close to Superman's popularity is Batman. Superman is still more popular than every Marvel character. Saying that Superman has been surpassed by Marvel characters is the same thing as saying Mickey Mouse has been surpassed by Speedy Gonzales. Well it's odd that Marvel characters have out grossed the DC "Holy Trinity" box office wise. I'm simply asking a question but since I know you to be a troll your opinion means less than zero to me. So enjoy posting nonsense. My post was more for realistic fans. I don't want a fan war. Just curious on the question I originally posted. Don't worry about DC Fan. He is a troll. He just posts things as facts when actual facts do not back them up at all. Considering that Spiderman, The X-Men, Iron Man, and Captain America are more popular than Superman now, he is way off. This is actually proven using any metric you wish. Comic books? Yep, Superman is not doing well anymore in that department. Movies? This is not even close. |
