You are making an incorrect assumption. I can see why you might make it and maybe I could have written the sentence differently but you assumption is incorrect all the same.

Alright fair enough, I just don't want people to forget about all the great villains back in the Raimi movies, Dark Knight trilogy, X-Men movies, and even the Donner Superman movies.

I guess you were going for the more recent comic book movies.
