Many thanks for this interesting and informative post, petrolino. Kurosawa is one of the greatest directors ever, and Throne of Blood is his best film (imo). Out of his Shakespeare trilogy, I‘ve still to watch The Bad Sleep Well. Ran is a great film, too.
