What “critics” like or don’t like has always been completely irrelevant to me (as they often contradict other critics and even themselves on occasion with inconsistent logic). What moviegoers enjoy watching has always been a truer measure of the success or failure of a project like this. As a Marvel fan, I didn’t think Justice League was that bad. I had some minor grips with it, but overall found it very enjoyable and much better than BvS. I even preferred it to Thor Ragnorok (which was just okay for me). I think people have become a bit jaded now because Avengers 1 and Civil War set the bar so high in terms of quality, that anything less than that standard is nearly always seen as a “failure”. Wonder Woman was great, as was GOTG. Other than that, most superhero films (marvel, fox, or dc) are either just okay, or lame. But most of them are still entertaining enough that they aren’t nearly as terrible as fanboys or haters make them out to be. Before Avengers 1 came out, the previous standard for comic book movies was DCs The Dark Knight. People tend to have a very short memory about that sort of thing. Careful there, that's a controversial suggestion.
