You do know that Fox has the "X-men" movies staying at PG-13 also, right? Logan really isn't an X-men movie even if it has characters from it. Same with Deadpool. They never would have made an R-rated "X-men" movie. Except they are in the same universe. If Thor 4 is rated R then it's still an R-rated MCU movie. Just because it's not a team-up movie that doesn't make it invalid. I never said it was a bad thing. The vast majority of X-Men movies should be PG-13. Just like every Deadpool standalone movie should be rated R. I would just argue Logan wasn't any better or worse for being R rated. I don't even remember it that way. It would have had the exact same effect as a PG13 film. I mean really, did anything happen that just had to be R rated? |
