Except they are in the same universe. If Thor 4 is rated R then it's still an R-rated MCU movie. Just because it's not a team-up movie that doesn't make it invalid. I never said it was a bad thing. The vast majority of X-Men movies should be PG-13. Just like every Deadpool standalone movie should be rated R. I would just argue Logan was any better or worse for being R rated. I don't even remember it that way. It would have the exact same effect as a PG13 film. I mean really, did anything happen that just had to be R rated? Well the main theme of the movie is Logan finding redemption by helping a little girl find her way to safety in a dark and violent world. I think the R rating was justified and the movie would've lost something if it was PG-13.
