Why? Why should standalone Deadpool movies be rated R? Because it's accurate to the source material and in line with the first movie. People would go mad if Deadpool 3 is PG-13. Now, if they rebooted it in a few years and decide to take a more family-friendly approach to the character, then PG-13 is perfectly fine. The source material really is R-rated. If that were true, every comic ever made would be considered R-rated. Not really. If you took out a lot of the unneeded stuff in the 1st Deadpool that would have been PG13. It was just a bunch of gore, a pegging snippet and masturbating. You can cut some of the profanity and get a PG13. Heh, family friendly.
