I was born in the mid 80s, so these figures came out at the perfect time for my friends and I. My buddies and I pooled our action figure collections and we had four Bobs. The weapons and hats for many were lost, but the Power Kick was still very much in play.
For those of you unfamiliar with the power kick, it was triggered by hitting a button slightly above Bob's ass, causing his leg would spring up. I had a lot of action figures, and there was something particularly powerful about the spring action in the Bob figure. One too many power kicks and his leg would fly straight off like a missile. I would have loved to see this attack used in the movie...probably would have shocked Batman.
All four of our Bobs did this. It was the greatest thing ever (no sarcasm, it was funny as hell everytime) to line them up like the Rockettes and fire their legs off in unison.
