Watched it, loved most of it! But why did they have to eat/kill the baby trisaratops?  Hey, I'm glad you liked it! My memory is failing me, which part was that? I remember a sick Triceratops but I don't recall one getting eaten. EDIT: Back to your original post of "having to watch the first one someday", where you referring to the first Jurassic Park made (1993), or the first in this new series, Jurassic World (2015)? Jurassic World- I saw the first one back when it was in theatres, then saw LOST WORLD and JPIII at home when they came out on VHS/DVD, but I hadn't watched JURASSIC WORLD until this morning. I had the day off, I was adding some decorations to my tree/halls/etc. and decided to break out some hot chocolate and watch some dinos. Really did enjoy it, more than I thought I would. I hadn't seen a movie with Bryce Dallas Howard since LOSS OF THE TEARDROP DIAMOND. She was quite good in this! Really looking forward to the new one, with Jeff G. returning. Wonder if they'll ever talk Sam N. into coming back or not? I feel like he and Owen Grady would have some interesting interactions and conversations, considering their respective relationships with raptors. And I'd love to see Jeff G.'s daughter-character return, even if just for something like an extended cameo. When the pterodactyls got loose, after the helicopter crash, and they attack. They went into the petting zoo area and the baby triceratops that they had the kids riding on earlier, are getting picked up and carried off (presumably to be eaten) by the pterodactyls. Triceratops are one of my favorites, that's why I was almost throwing marshmallows at the screen while yelling at the mean pterodactyls. Actually, four of the dinos that get the worst treatment are four of my favorites. |
