Yes, there has been a lot of great music in the 2010s.
You may recall that Henry_Swizzlesticks_II started, and I finished, a series of "Top Albums by Year" threads on that other site. All I had to do below is add my 2017 winner to my previous choices.
2010 Silverlane - "Above the Others"
2011 Headless Beast - "Forced to Kill"
2012 The Mystery - "Apocalypse 666"
2013 U.D.O. - "Steelhammer"
2014 Riot V - "Unleash the Fire"
2015 Night Demon - "Curse of the Damned"
2016 Grim Reaper - "Walking in the Shadows"
2017 Burning Witches - "Burning Witches"
If I had to narrow it down to just one album, I'd probably pick Riot V - "Unleash the Fire".
