I propose it's impossible not to like this guy. Even when he's a little bit brittle like he is here, he's still personable and communicative. I didn't realise until very recently that the managers tend to have to do multiple (and when I say 'multiple', I mean into double digits and well beyond) post-match interviews for various media outlets prior to the official press conference. It's no wonder that even the most laid-back can appear confrontational if they're on the defensive for interview after interview. I know they are well paid, but it must take a certain kind of person to do that. Not me, that's for sure. I would be the worst loser ever if they put a camera in my face within 20 minutes of losing, especially if I felt there was injustice. I'd probably end up doing those really sulky awkward interviews where they just answer with one word answers. Love those interviews.
