The Dark (2005). I gave away the DVD the ending was so bleak. The alternate ending on the DVD wasn't much sunnier. Ignore the derisive reviews; the story is faithful to Irish folklore. Society (1989). Weird and funny-- and great riff on the Eton Boating Song. Society is a keeper. Annoyed with myself that I came late to this one, as I dismissed it for about 10yrs. Pleasantly surprised. |
