I wonder what Bethesda's angle is here. They tried their hand at the multiest of multiplayer with their own best known IP in the form of Elder Scrolls Online but suddenly they want to appeal directly to the single player experience? It seems an odd 180. It seems odd to bring it up at all considering games under their umbrella are generally big sellers despite being mostly single-player games. Why make a directed effort to fill the single player niche? Honestly the only thing I can think of is that it's a bit of an advertisement for them to show gamers there's still a place to get games you can sink hours apon hours into. I think the ad used images from Wolfenstien II which just came out. Also the remastered Skyrm as well as DOOM just came out on The Switch too.
