I found the ending fight scene a little underwhelming, but overall I thought this was great. They beat you over the head with the metaphor of the pit prison vs the well Bruce fell down in his childhood, but I thought it was for the most part well done. The first appearance of Batman when he returns on his motorcycle is awesome. That was the highlight of the movie for me...runner up going to a surprisingly effective (she's a great actress, but I rolled my eyes the first time I heard she was cast for this role) Catwoman by Anne Hathaway. She surprised the hell out of me.
I would think that any "aging" of a film would be mostly in the special effects. In this movie, it's the...Batcopter? I always thought it looked like a flying lobster. Still cool. It only looked a little weightless when it lands in the underpass near the truck right before it attaches the tow cables to the bomb.
All in all, I get why some may dislike this installment, but I really dug it. Bruce Wayne is tired, depressed, and miserably indebted to Batman. Kudos to Nolan for giving the character one of the few happy endings he's enjoyed in the 90 or something years he's been around. This was a damn good movie with a few storytelling flaws (and who could blame the writers?...this is a character who's been around for ages). If I made it, I'd be happy. Everyone's a critic though.

One thing though...Come on Hans, aside from Bane's drum theme and the rise from the pit, there is a LOT of recycling going on...
