It's interesting to see this development happen. For 15+ years, people did nothing but give George Lucas flack for the Star Wars prequels. Some of it got really nasty in terms of the cyberbullying! Now he gets rid of his connection to the series and people want him back... 
By the way, where the hell was Mark Hamill to defend George Lucas back when the PT was being released?! Love Mark but he didn't ever stick up for the guy publicly back then.
