Not even close...Wrath of Khan has an incredibly literate script. Well, it's Moby Dick in space. Yes, there are certain elements from Moby Dick, but there is also a theme that runs through it about rebirth that is essentially the same as A Tale of Two Cities. Both books are quoted in the film. I think the allusions to Dickens was the result of Nicholas Myer's un-credited re-write of the screenplay. |
