BVS did better because it instilled the "gotta see these two on screen for the first time" bit. And then people realized it sucked, stopped coming, and didn't come back.

Depending on which you judge things by the DCEU pecking order goes box office wise 5: JL @ $212m, 4: MOS @ $291m, 3: Suicide Squad @ $325m 2: BVS @ $330m & 1: WW @ $412m domestically, worldwide however it goes, 5: JL @ $615m, 4: MOS @ $668m, SS @ $745m, 2: WW @ $821m & !: BVS @ $873m, and given how Suicide Squad if it got a Chinese release would also be in the $800m+ range no BVS did not "run off" fans, that's the point fans haven't been run off but JL failed to sell people on going to see it, just like how despite the MCU having a fanbase/awareness of doing $1.5b in box office for a single film does not mean every film generates that interest, Ant Man generated $500m in interest based on how Marvel sold the film and the brands current standing in the industry, JL didn't sell itself to the people like all the other DCEU films have hence their lower box office, if the brand was tainted it would have meant Wonder Woman would have failed also not become the DCEU's highest domestic earner by a almost 20% margin.
You keep saying bullshit terms which are not true, DC haven't lost their audience nor have they been constant failures, has JL underperformed? absolutely, has DC got problems with WB's messing with things? absolutely, have the majority of the DCEU been underwhelming critically? yeah it has, but see those are factual statements that are not easily disproved unlike yours which is make up a narrative based off of the last films success, do you see the difference?
Just because YOU dislike the films doesn't matter, the DCEU has a large & stable fanbase which if they stimulate properly will come out for future films.
also "Are you going to admit Justice League, because I have no idea what point you're trying to make." makes no fucking sense what the fuck were you trying to say? because I already admitted JL underperformed, if you want me to say it's a bad film I cant, it has problems but I liked it overall, and thought the negatives are easily corrected, what makes JL "bad" is a studio mandated runtime instilled after the film had been written & filmed requiring 30+ minutes of the film to be cut, but even then it's not bad it's just not great, it's an ok film even with it being fucked with.

When BVS performs $400 mil short of Civil War and
JL comes up $300 mil short of BVS
You are losing your audience. Something is wrong. You can sit there and say you like it all you want, you can try to pretend that $600 mil is a good total. But it doesn't change the fact, that something is massively wrong. You need to own that.
