Well, looky what I just found . Yes Elia Kazan directed it. Never knew that !

and there was a Columbo the other night with Nan Martin in it and I could NOT recall where I had seen her.
Lo and behold she was in JB.
Christopher Plummer was VERY tall (when standing and you are a kid sitting) and very impressive !
Some guy named Raymond Massey meant nothing to me at the time. Looking at the cast list, I am astonished !
