That's why the film suffered. From Warner Bros stupidity.

But other than that it was like a Diet MCU film.

Honestly, I'm still not buying the whole time limit thing. Guardians of the Galaxy was the exact same length, so this whole idea that it needed to be crammed in doesn't fly with me.

Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg needed to be introduced. Steppenwolf needed more screen time, at least just to get some essence of a character.

Guardians had the advantage of playing with unknown characters. So they were able to get away with it.

Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman deserved better.
