I don't need to own shit you fucking moron I'm not saying $600m is good, I'm saying WB failed to sell the film to their fans this time around, something they did however manage to do for every other one of their films, what DC does compared to Marvel doesn't mean shit because they aren't the same thing, they are different brands with different positions backed by different companies with different mandates, WB is run by fucking idiots who have done nothing but cause problems for the DC films since MOS, Marvel has Disney who support their plays and who try to correct problems before the cut off point instead of creating new ones after it.
The $600m is only good in the sense of DC has that fanbase that majority of them like the film, this means DC & WB if they are smart just need to take that into account, next time make a film where $600m is a success that way if it only does $600m then fuck it you still made money, don't make films that need to be top 10 films of the year BO wise to make a profit, it also means that they have a $600m fanbase left to build on, they didn't run of all their fans, or most of their fans or even half of them most of their fans stuck around for JL and most of those fans liked the film, that's the positive that their smaller fanbase is still huge and it's one that liked the last film, does nothing for JL but it's a positive foundation for DC to build on.
Also 1 film does not show a pattern which is my point, you keep saying DC are doing this and DC are doing that but you base it off the performance of one film, one film which could be an outlier and not an accurate identifier of what is actually happening, also the pattern you talk of is one that is more clearly effecting the MCU films, the big team ups are dropping in BO from one to the next, the finales of the trilogies are doing less each time also, so the interest of the casuals is dropping for the MCU it seems, but here I unlike you see the other obvious point which is good for them, there's an upside where the actual base fandom has grown significantly so whilst they may not get the shocking $1.5b or £1.2b of a Avengers or IM3 they have the stability of 3 $800m movies in a single calendar year, which given for those big BO's Marvel had to give almost a year of space to build anticipation, now they know they can release 3 films a year and do over $2b at the BO with 4 months or less between the films.
They failed to sell it? You know that's funny because I always hear about how iconic and beloved DC characters are.
So there are 2 options.
A: The films are so shitty that these big time characters can't outsell Doctor Strange with their flagship title, or
B: The characters aren't as beloved as you think
Pick one
Why? I am not making those arguments you prat, you are apply other peoples pov's and opinions onto MY argument instead of paying attention to what I am saying.
