As for canto bight, I was under the impression those were not the only rich people in the galaxy, it was a gathering of rich, evil people. Leia was very very rich. In the trillions upon trillions of people in the galaxy...

Well Rose seemed to think the only way you could get so rich to be able to gamble at such a glamourous place was by dealing weapons. The space horses were then dispatched to trample over everybody inside the surprisingly fragile facility, no doubt killing innocent workers as well.
So Rose is a formidable way that knows the absolute truth... OK! I didn't particulary liked that scene (or rose) either but was in no way BAD or movie ruining. I didn't particulary liked that little bears destroyed a garrison of imperials but does it ruin the movie? Get out of here...
