"No, it isn't. Ink does not become part of you just because it is on/in you." ^I think tattooed people are in a better position to judge what it feels like to be tattooed than you are. Very likely, but we weren't discussing what it feels like. We were discussing the actuality, and the actuality is that ink does not become a part of your body simply because you deposit it under your skin. Me neither. It seems like you're overly sensitive and not especially concerned with the truth with regards to tattoos, though, so that's probably it. So someone who had never been tattooed is going to explain to everyone the 'actuality' of being tattooed. That's hilarious to me. So is the fact that you frame your opinion as a fact. Again, first hand experience trumps your opinion. You telling tattooed people what it means to be tattooed is like me telling black people what it's means being black. It's like anyone claiming authority about something they have no personal experience with. IMO that is a manifestation of narcissism. Hopefully, if I did that someone would tell me to pull my head out of my ass.
