You know why newer graphics are not good?

I feel like, the better they make the graphics, the more noticeable it is that you can't interact with anything. The more stuff on the screen that looks awesome, the more lame the game is going to be, lol.
Does that even make sense, I hope so. Like, how do I even say what I am trying to say here.
At this point all they can improve on I feel, is the graphics, but that doesn't make the game any better obviously(I know i'm stating the obvious here) so at this point there is no room for improvement in video games?(I know, I just said something shocking, sorry) I tend to th ink so.
