Because, the bible COMMANDS them to over and over again. By trying to convert you, they are simply following the expectations of their beliefs. Converting people is part of the religion... I recently found myself presenting the Christian viewpoint on one of Goz's threads. And now you, another non-Christian, are doing the same. Do you get the feeling that this board is somewhat short on Christians capable of making reasoned defense of the faith? I try. It's been a while, but there is a book called 'unapologetic' which is very good in terms of reasoning the faith. |
