Yes. It's never been quantity over quality. Except as has been pointed out multiple times in this thread, MCU has both quantity AND quality. Sure, their movies may not be in the same caliber as The Godfather or some other greats, but all of their movies have been at worst pretty decent and at best pretty darn good. Considering that they're at what, 15/16 movies now? That's some ridiculously good consistency that is unparalleled by anything in cinematic history so far. Most movie franchises can't go beyond 3 movies without encountering a blunder. Some can't even get that far. Never that good though. No Die Hard's, From Russia With Love's, Raiders of the Lost Ark's. |
