I've actually never seen the original or the remake for THHE, let alone the sequels to both. However, that will soon change

i've only seen THHE remake. enjoyable with some brutal scenes.

thought it was well done.

i'm a huge fan of the Dawn of the Dead (2004) remake. just like DOTD (2004) with CJ - in THHE you get to see the transformation of a 'bad guy' you can't stand turn into a hero. In this case - 'Doug' seems to be a weaselly worm in the opening half of the movie - but steps up bigtime and you end up rooting for him in the end.

7/10 beers for me
