The first one, because it's funny and a holiday classic. The sequel is an unimaginative rehash with the same jokes and pratfalls. It has its moments with them, but they were too over-the-top and lack a fresh approach; the first film's pranks were somewhat in the realm of possibility of a kid could do in a home invasion. Nevertheless, Tim Curry is a hoot.
