Mongo punching out the horse is one of the most amazing sight gags in movie history. Mel Brooks says Mongo was Richard Pryor's favourite character in 'Blazing Saddles'. Sylvester Stallone's dad once punched out a horse after it kicked him. I thought the scene was based on Sid Caesar punching a horse. |
