Apparently the movie has be filmed with washed out colors and have "dark and depressing" dialog all the way through for some people to see the pathos. Spoon feeding is necessary for some people.
Yeah losing an eye he really seemed hurt and in pain by it. Losing his father gets over it in the next scene, nothing compared to his reaction in TDW after losing his mother. And losing his home is made a joke by Korg. If this isn't definition of lighthearted comedy then nothing is.
