The MCU movies are mostly faithful to the source material with a few things tweaked here and there to make them different. The Fox movies are mostly completely different from the source material, with a few things tweaked here and there to make them similar to the source material. Do you see the difference? Even now you're bending over backward trying to make connections just to convince me that they had some similarities the source material. Just the fact that you're having such a hard time finding connections already show how dissimilar it is from the source. Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne fans would disagree with you. And no, the MCU is far more like the Ultimate comics than the 616. Marvel writers like Mark Millers even stated this with the first Iron Man. Avengers was way more like Ultimates than Avengers #1. I’m not bending over I’m stating facts. Eh, the Pyms not being around was Edgar Wright's fault. He sat on his hands for years and wasted time and insisted no one use those characters except him. Avengers the Movie was a combo of 616 Avengers 1 and Ultimates. It had an alien invasion, but it also had Loki as the main villain.
