Yes, they made a change to Hela's origins. Which brings me back to square one: The MCU has made some minor changes to characters but stay true mostly to source material. Fox characters are mostly different from source material apart from some few similarities.

Take Hela vs. Mystique for example. Sure, they made Hela Thor's sister but she's still the goddess of death, her costume is still comic accurate, she's still excessively powerful, etc.

On the other hand, Mystique shares the same powers with comic Mystique but that's about it. Her look is different, her age is different, her role in the X-men is different, she's a hero and a leader of the X-men, her attitude is different, her back story is different, heck she's even got superstrength.

Mystique looks different?

The difference I see is one has pupils and the other doesn’t with the addition of scales. And Mystique has been a member of X-Men in the comics. Pretty much every X-Men villain has.

I don’t know what you mean by her age.
