There are good doses of wise cracks/jokes in Foxs xmen films which follow the correct tone from the comics.
So just like the MCU then.
Problem with MCU flicks is the jokes are
1) kiddy in nature
1) kiddy in nature
No more than Magneto taking a shot at Rogue's hair.
2) demean the character of villains
This happens all the time in practically every comic.
3) take place during serious moments
In real life you'll get jokes during these times.
4) Too many forced jokes which are cringe
Subjective.
