It's very much a kid's joke. Then again, you'd think Tony Starks' Prima Noctae thing was a kid's joke.
They make jokes aimed at the villain but they're never humiliated or demeaned.

Thing is all those scenarios have stakes. Theres not much in MCU end scenarios hence the lighter tone.
