they never understood it at 100% but they had the better potential to do the series more justice, because fox has more creative freedom and can embrace the tone of xmen. making a disney version of xmen like we saw in homecoming will be far more damaging than what fox did. fox had slumps but they had highs. it's slumps only for disney's x-men.

the disney movies of this properties (spiderman and star wars)have been far worse and weaker than when fox and sony had them,let me ask you op. how will disney adapt a story like the mutant massacre or e is for extinction? the upcoming new mutants movie, disney cannot make that movie and from what we have seen, the movie looks very true to the comic story. not to mention a far more unique cbr for 2018 than your IW that has promised to blow up NY again.
