I didn't hate it, yet I initially wasn't rooting for any seemingly self loathing characters. Turns out, they're just all having issues at the same time. I love Danny Glover's character, Huston's, Murray's, & Hackman's. The 3 kids are a bit weirdo, except they're only harming themselves. My 2nd least fav of Wes, ahead of Fantastic Mr. Fox which feels a bit dry.

I chalk it up to it being chaser to the uplifting Rushmore & breezy Bottle Rocket. It probably took me some more Wes marinating to get it.
