That was my fear with Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson making the playoffs and coming to the Linc. Granted the Rams and Vikes may have better 'all around teams'; however Brees, Cam and Ryan have all been to 'the show'. I may be in the minority here as I am a lot - but as an Eagles fan - I'd rather take my chances with the Rams or Vikes - being it's Goff's and Keenum's first time on the Big Stage. The way I see it - anybody can pretty much knock off anybody - but I don't want a prior SB appearing QB Superstar with a chip on his shoulder coming in - give me Keenum or Goff with the lights shining on them for the first time as opposed to Cam, Brees and Ryan Foles has only played in one playoff game (which he lost to Brees) and the Eagles haven't won a home playoff game in how long? 11 years? Foles has been awful lately and if he starts off badly then the Philly crowd will turn on him quick. Then "home field advantage" won't mean shit. For some reason - I really don't think they will turn on him. It's not his fault Wentz went down. I think the city sees that and he's not even half the player Wentz is. I think a lot of people as you can see are expecting them to be one and done. They're not going to be calling for Nate Sudfeld after that game against the Cowboys. That was my fear - that Sudfeld lit it up and there would be people calling for him to play. It's Foles or nothing. The guy has played well during his career at times - and granted he's looked awful too. I'm solely chalking this up as 'anything can happen'. Wouldn't shock me if they lost. Wouldn't shock me if they won. It's nice to have a home playoff game here for the first time in awhile. Real future is Wentz.
