I get what you're saying. I don't blame people for thinking they're going to be one and done. I actually love it.

I really think if things break right for them - they concentrate on the run, Foles doesn't turn the ball over and dinks and dunks, special teams and the 'D' steps up - they'll be in any game.

I just can't see them getting smoked and obliterated. Granted the defense was abysmal the last month of the season or so (disregarding that exhibition game against the Cowboys the last week of the year) - they were actually #1 (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) against the run going into the Cowboys game.

I just don't see any particular aspect of any one teams game in the NFC that puts them above another. Sure the Vikes D is tremendous. We're also talking about QB who has never been there before. Rams - yeah - they've been putting up a ton of points on people. Goff has never been there before.

It sounds like the Birds - being the top seed just might be the most least respected team in the NFC - and I love it

I'm just having fun with you guys, truthfully I wouldn't be all that surprised if the Eagles' defense carries them to a hard-fought win.

I would however be surprised if Foles' offense suddenly goes on a tear in a playoff game against a tough opponent.

I don't know - he seems bipolar as a player as the Redskins are as a team.

He can look tremendous - i.e. that 27 touchdown and 2 interception season where he was voted to the Pro Bowl. He played well getting thrown into the fire against the Rams. Lit the Giants up (yes - I know it's the giants)

Then looked like a 3rd stringer against the Raiders and his limited playing time against the Cowboys - and yes - I know he was abysmal with the Rams - but that was with Jeff Fisher.

You just don't know what to expect from him - my only hope is he doesn't try to do too much - i.e. forcing the ball, turning the ball over, etc. Concentrate on the run.

I actually think they'll be fine. Joke may be on me. Who knows. Maybe I'm wearing homer blinders.

I'm excited though and that's all that counts
