Vikings Season 5 and 6

So Björn was right and out-smarted Ivar @ land or sea attack


Floki's story is utterly boring and all this pseudo-religion stuff annoys me. Same goes for the Bishop and his bible talks.
I guess one must be mentally disturbed like Ivar to find it attracting/amusing.

Ubbe is too in-active: either he is really about to take the crown, or he should bring this former slave to silence. I guess Magarethe will sooner or later bite the dust. Torvi is already taking over her place as Ubbe's favourite. Maybe he  is growing bored and annoyed about her bad mouthing and thirst for more power.

I hope he will study Lagertha's style and maybe the warfare style of Björn before he takes over the command of the Great Heathen army along with Guthrum.

Ubbe - and even more so Guthrum- are portrayed in "The last Kingdom" as very calm, patient and rational commanders.  I especially like the calm but also open-minded attitude of Guthrum.
Ivar is only mentioned in this show...but since Ubbe sails for Irland to avange his death, they might have never fallen out. And "The last Kingdom" is more thruthful to te actual historical records (of course also with a lot of artistic freedoms), but sill far closer than Vikings.
