Winner of an Oscar for Tender Mercies 1983
Winner of Golden Globes for Apocalypse Now "I love the smell of napalm in the morning" 1979, Tender Mercies 1983, Lonesome Dove 1989 and Stalin 1992.
He's acted in over 140 movies and TV produtions, he's also directed 5 movies, beginning with the documentary We're Not the Jet Set 1977.
Duvall began appearing in theatre during the late 1950s, moving into television and film roles during the early 1960s, playing Boo Radley in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) and appearing in Captain Newman, M.D. (1963).
