Men (*) should absolutely not be allowed to compete against women (**) in any physical sports after the age of 10-12.
There is no reason why women shouldn’t be allowed to compete against men if they are good enough, except for combat sports. A woman fighting against a man in the same weight category in wrestling, judo or boxing would have an unfair psychological advantage, as her male opponent would be reluctant to give his all.
(*) Anyone with XY chromosomes, regardless of sex change surgery or hormone therapy
(**) Anyone with XX chromosomes
