So you have a movie that shows stuff being grown, but where is it from, and where is it going
Most of the time it's painfully obvious that it's not cannabis. Outside of documentaries about how beneficial marijuana is or ones about how evil the US government is I can't think of a movie that actually had real marijuana plants in it.
So to answer your question. It comes from the prop department and it's going back there afterwards.
