Black Panther is getting anywhere close to $1 billion. Spider-Man couldn't even get over $900 million and he had both Iron Man and Captain America in his movie.

I think what he meant was that Marvel has potential for two billion because of the three films coming out this year:

Black Panther, which is getting a lot of hype and depending on how good it is, has potential to make a lot of money, possibly around 800 million world wide.

Infinity War, which has a very high chance of hitting over a billion WW.

Ant-Man and The Wasp, which will probably make more than it's previous film.
